1. Terms of Acceptable Use
By accessing or registering on the Masagana High School Student Information System (SIS Portal), you agree to comply with the rules established by the Department of Education (DepEd) and Masagana High School.
- Authorized Access: Portal credentials are non-transferable and must only be used by the registered student or authorized faculty member.
- Academic Integrity: Coursework, assignments, and grades submitted via this portal are subject to academic honesty policies.
- Respectful Communication: All messaging channels and study groups must maintain a professional and courteous environment free from harassment, profanity, or bullying.
2. Administrator & Teacher Audit Transparency
In accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), Masagana High School enforces strict boundaries between automated system moderation and student privacy. Below is our transparent audit policy regarding what is and is not monitored by faculty administrators:
- Chat Moderation: Deleted messages, edited message history, and automod-flagged keywords (for anti-bullying compliance).
- Account Instances: Sign-in IP addresses, login timestamps, and registration/deletion requests.
- Account Changes: Profile picture updates, nickname edits, and primary contact modifications.
- Academic Actions: Assignment submission timestamps, teacher grade inputs, and attendance logs.
- Disciplinary Reports: Official incident reports filed through the portal.
- Normal Private Chats: Standard student messages are not stored in faculty moderation streams.
- Drafts & Unsent Messages: Unsent message text is never captured.
- Search History: Personal search queries across classmates or portal links.
- Navigation Pathways: Step-by-step clicks between portal pages.
- Personal Social Lists: Befriended, unfriended, blocked, or muted classmate lists.
3. Legal & Data Privacy Compliance
Masagana High School processes personal identifying information (PII) solely for the purpose of administering educational records, monitoring attendance, and facilitating teacher-student academic communication. Data will never be sold, leased, or transferred to third-party commercial entities.
